The principle areas of my practice are in drawing, painting, installation and video. The work is generated through the examination of the psychological prism of human dualities - the emotional and the rational, the subjective and the objective. The tower block is at once an urban motif and archetype, an ancient monolith. The solitary figure is universal man as the urbanscape is the self; humanity, the group mind; that greater part of ourselves that is present in the mundane, the everyday, indeed is our connectedness. I seek to explore an archaeology of souls and a history of archetype.
